At first I wanted to guess somewhere in the Andes, and I was going to go with Chile. But your “nein” clue now has got me towards German-speaking countries, and there’s 4 of them with high mountains (Germany, Austria, Swtizerland, Liechtenstein). I *think* I’ll settle on Austria.
This was taken neither in Chile nor in Austria. 🙂
Germany? Specifically Bavarian Alps?
You got it man! The day this pic was taken I summitted the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain. At one point the trail crosses briefly into Austria – by “briefly” I mean a six-foot stretch of trail. 🙂
