Where am I in the pic below? “In the middle” and “in the center” are not valid answers, jajajajaja. (That is how Latinos spell “hahahahaha.”) π
Thanks for guessing.

Gringo - aka Scott - was born outside of Chicago and has lived most of his life in or around big cities. He spent two years of his adult life in Mexico City (talk about big cities!) and fell in love with Mexican food and culture all while weathering the challenges of life in a city with over 20 million people. Life's unpredictable journey has since brought him to Tennessee, where he is close to family and to the natural beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. Scott also enjoys movies, hiking, top ten lists, and travel in general.

Even before I read the caption, my mind went towards Latin America, perhaps a colonial-era fort? I’m gravitating more towards Central America, Caribbean, or Colombia/Venezuela. My final answer is: Venezuela.
Very good guess but no. Somewhat sadly, I’ve never been to Venezuela.
Colombia?
The Middle East? Like Israel er somethin’?
Another good guess, and another country I have yet to visit. Other guesses (via FB) include Melacca and Puerto Rico. Obviously someplace coastal. π
Skyduster, your second guess of “Colombia” is correct. Cartagena de Indias, to be specific. The city walls, inside which I’m sitting in this pic, almost completely encircle the old city. Incredible place.
