Happy Halloween, Loyal Reader!

Speaking of things that are orange, here I am, sporting a pumpkin-colored tee, an unkempt beard, and a cheek-to-cheek smile. This was a great, gloriously sunny day. Where was I?

Looks like somewhere around the Baltic Sea, I’d say. Which could be several countries, but I’m going to guess:

You said it’s not Copenhagen, but it could be somewhere else in Denmark. Hmmmm

  Kalmar Castle, picturesquely situated on along the Baltic Sea in the southern Swedish town of Kalmar, once housed the Swedish Royal Family while an outbreak of the plague swept across Stockholm. The castle includes a moat, cannons, a dungeon, and the requisite royal apartments. Worth a visit!
